*stares at keyboard* feel crappy today.. stoned.. just a lil. when was the last time i was deliriously happy?.. oh rite.. last sunday. when i went to watch "catch me if you can: with Melvin. for some reason i was on a all high.. then things slid a lil until today.. and everything crashed.. or maybe this isn't a crash.. maybe tomorrow will be worse.. *sigh*
*shakes head* Have i mentioned that Jansen is really weird?.. *laugh* i talked to him yesterday morn and he kept on asking," so when are you gonna dump your current guy?.." and he was like," when you do, tell me.. then i shall send in an application form to be ur bf and maybe you'll gimme a queue number.." *smirk* does wonders for your ego.. *laugh* and he was going on and on abt how he couldn't believe his crush was attached. *cough* interesting conversation all in all. nah.. he's always like that.. does the same thing to all the girls he knows, i'm sure. we were talking about bugs bunny vitamin tablets.. nevermind. don't ask.
the field trip to bukit timah was rather fun actually.. the first bit was horrid coz we walkd into this mosquito infected area.. and the second we walked in, we were SURROUNDED by mosquitos.. so many that when you stand still, you can see this whole swarm of them flying around you. gary says those mosquitos only get fed once per semester *laugh* so we were like.. blood buffet. can't believe kok siong wanted to leave me on that slope though. there was this rather steep slope and gary and koksiong were helping the girls down.. i was the last one.. so when it was my turn, he just turned around and said," kay.. let's go".. i whined. *sniff* of course he can't leave me behind.. i have one of the specimens with me.. he can't do the proj without that specimen.. *smirk* Ooo and we saw this GIANT forest ant. and i mean giant. just about as big as my thumb. i nearly fainted when i saw this HUGE insect at a distance ( it had an orange bum.. hard to miss..) so i kinda exclaimed," what the hell is THAT?" when i found out it was an ANT i nearly died. an ant as big as your thumb! *shudder* Then gary went to pick up the ant.. *shudder* so we could have a closer look. *shudder* not nice. of course there were scores of spiders.. *laugh* which ruby v religiously avoided. whenever someone said," spider" she stood v far away.. *laugh* learnt quite alot of interesting bits and pieces of info.. other then the mosquito infected area, the rest of the trip was rather fun surprisingly. then there were the silly statements we all made.. when i said that the "ant plant" was so-clled coz the leaves looked like ant heads.. *wince* turned out its coz ants lived in the hollow stems of the plant. and when ruby mistook the tapioca plant for potato.. *laugh* and when Liling ( the tutor) asked why was this particular plant fuzzy all over.. i said it was for warmth.. *looks pained* well.. she said it wasn't for water conservation.. and it didn't seem to have apparent use for all the fuzz.. so i said the first thing that came to mind ( though i know it was absolute rubbish)..
