Genie finally knows how to give her paw for a 'pawshake', after 3 days of training.

The first two nights, whenever we say the words "Genie, Paw!" to her, she'll tilt her head and give us the 'what is this mad person going on about? Ohhh I want that treat! Hmm. I'll try to lie down on the floor - they give me treats for that" Then she's lie flat on the floor.

We'll say 'Noooo..' then repeat the word 'Paw'. After which she'll cycle through everything she knows (her standard 'repertoire', so to speak) to test which is the correct one..

And FINALLY on Christmas morning, she figured it out.

"give paw = treat".

Now, she automatically sticks her paw out when we put our hand near her. Rather like "Ohh it's time to press the food lever and get treats" sorta motion.

Adorable.

I just wish she wasn't so greedy =.=

Next up, roll over!

It's been really busy at work, with a major event coming up and all.

I've finally gotten round to rebonding my hair so it's all nice and neat now. Shiny, even. The hairdresser tried to convince me to curl my hair instead.. but meh, too lazy to spend an extra 15minutes twirling my hair and putting product in it every morning. I'd rather spend that extra 15mins sleeping.

I also spent $100 on shampoo/conditioner. Don't ask.
