I am infuriated.
Genie has been scratching like mad the past few months. I told my MIL that this didn't happen until we got this new maid coming in to clean the house weekly. So I told MIL to let the maid know to just clean the floor with water.
OBVIOUSLY my instructions were not followed.
Since Genie was coming home freshly groomed last weekend, I spent Saturday mopping the floor with hot water. Then Melvin showered her and she stopped scratching!
That maid came again today to clean the house.
When I came home, the dog was scratching madly. In the time I walked from the door to my bedroom, she stopped to scratch at least three to four times.
I took my pail of hot water. Cleaned the floor once more.
To my horror, the water turned yellow.
What the fuck has she been cleaning the floor with?
I wiped the dog down with a wet towel after cleaning the floor.
Then lo and behold, the scratching stopped.
If my MIL doesn't tell her, I will. And I will not be pleasant.
Either that or my MIL didn't tell the maid the first time... then guess who I'll be unpleasant to?
